Welcome to Amarsa, one of the most loyal supporters of King Khanid II as well as a proponent of cooperation and trade between the Amarr Empire and Caldari State.

Amarsa is at War with the Gallente and Minmatar in support of the Amarr Empire and Caldari State!!

Though the Khanid Kingdom is not involved in Faction Warfare, Amarsa is among the first Khanid powers to assist the Amarr Empire and Caldari State against their enemies.

The Duchy of Amarsa is located on Kihtaled II. There is a social mixture of middle class and wealthy citizens from around the galaxy as well as a vibrant slave community. Pictured below is the Amarsa flag, the double eagle is the Amarsa crest from the original Amarsa Kingdom thousands of years ago, while the blue stripes represent the Amarr Empire and Khanid Kingdom on either side of the Duchy. The dark red background represents space and sacrifices made in the past.

Amarsa industry and Navy

Amarsa has a small shipbuilding industry with a growing Navy funded by Caldari Banks. Further defense is provided for by the Caldari bank security firm EFIS. There is a small royal ruling class and middle class, but the bulk of the population are slaves.

 

History of the Amarsa Duchy

The name Amarsa, comes from the Amarr Empire and goes back thousands of years. Long ago the Amarsa Kingdom was a prominent power before space travel. That Kingdom was swalled by Amarr, but it remained a respected name.

When the Khanid Kingdom split from the Empire, a Khanid royal family was given a Barony which they called Amarsa to help connect with the Amarr Empire and it's history. The Amarsa Barony has gone through tough and poor times over the past few hundred years but has remained loyal to the Khanid throne. Recently, the Baron of Amarsa was killed by pirates and the Baroness went mad. The daughter, Arbelia, ascended to the throne, hungry for power and caring little for welfare of slaves she set up her power base. However, It was Vulna, her slave, who put into motion a stronger cooperation with Ehr Financial a Caldari Bank, which sparked tremendous growth in Amarsa leading it to be granted the role of Duchy by the King.

The country is basically owned by a Caldari bank, it has its token navy and its cosmopolitan planet life on Kihtaled II for its citizens while slaves live in ghettos. It does have a water world and amusement parks for wealthy tourists though. The Navy is being built up with help from the Caldari Bank. Khitaled II (Amarsa Prime) is becoming a major trade hub for Caldari and Khanid goods.

Amarsa joined the Faction Wars on the side of Amarr Empire.
